Hi! I’m Maithreyi—but you can call me Mai.
I’m an English teacher who loves making learning fun (yes, even grammar!).
I’ve been living in Germany for over a decade, and I’m proudly following in my mum’s footsteps as an English teacher. I’m really passionate about teaching, and I always encourage my students to ask questions, try things out, and not be afraid of making mistakes—that’s how you learn! I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and want to create a space where non-native English speakers can chat about real-life topics like movies, books, food, and travel.
My lessons are relaxed and interactive—we might talk about a podcast one day, a movie the next, or even use games alongside good old grammar to keep things interesting and practical.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll probably find me at the gym or in the kitchen cooking… usually with a glass of wine.
