Originally from Ireland, Mary Brunkhorst has been driven by a passion to expand her knowledge, experience, and understanding of communication and the complexities of the English language. After studying German and marketing, she moved to Germany in 1993 and has since worked for various employers, including Siemens, the Chamber of Commerce, and the University of Passau. Since 2014, she has taught English at the Bildungszentrum Nuremberg, keeping up-to-date through continuous training.

Mary's primary goal as an English teacher is to foster awareness of language, cultural, and goal differences, empowering her students. She strives to teach English in a lively, engaging manner, incorporating Irish cultural topics. With her extensive experience and diverse background, Mary brings a unique perspective to her lessons, helping students navigate the nuances and complexities of the language and communicate effectively in various contexts. Through her dynamic, student-centered approach, Mary creates a supportive learning environment that encourages her students to explore English with confidence and enthusiasm.
