In this hands-on cooking class, you’ll learn how to work with soft rice paper and fresh ingredients to create beautifully rolled fresh, un-fried spring rolls. You’ll discover how to fill them with rice noodles, vegetables, herbs, and your choice of tofu, fish, or meat, and how to serve them with traditional dipping sauces such as peanut, hoisin, or fish sauce for the perfect finishing touch.
The class is paired with Gỏi đu đủ, a crisp and zesty green papaya salad that complements the summer rolls with its refreshing flavors and textures. Together, these dishes capture the essence of Vietnamese cooking — light yet satisfying, simple yet full of character.
By the end of the class, you’ll have learned how to prepare, roll, and serve traditional summer rolls, how to balance sweetness, saltiness, and acidity in dressings, and how to combine fresh herbs and vegetables to create harmony on the plate.
