Kursleitung Joshua McGuigan

My name is Joshua, and I’m from London, England. I graduated from a London university with a degree in Journalism, and I have professional experience working in major news organisations such as the BBC. 

I am a CELTA-qualified English teacher with over five years of teaching experience, working with both young learners and adults. My lessons focus on building confidence, fluency, and clear communication. I especially enjoy helping students improve their English conversation skills in a relaxed and encouraging environment.

Outside of teaching, I love travelling, discovering new cultures, and meeting people from around the world. I also enjoy participating in social service projects and sharing experiences that connect people across cultures.

With my background in journalism, I also enjoy teaching students about media, storytelling, and news writing — helping them not only improve their English but also learn how to communicate effectively and creatively.

I look forward to supporting students at the Nürnberg Bildungszentrum and helping them achieve their English learning goals!
