Ready to take your Japanese to the next level?

In this course, you’ll refresh your A1 basics, expand your vocabulary, and learn useful expressions for everyday conversations. We’ll start with Lessons 16–18 of Marugoto A1 and then move on to Marugoto A2 (Elementary 1).

The aim is to help you communicate in simple Japanese about familiar topics, including yourself, your experiences, and your preferences.

What you will learn in this course:

• Basic vocabulary and expressions for everyday situations

• Grammar explained through practical examples

• Practice speaking about familiar topics and asking questions

• Japanese daily life and culture

• Practical activities to develop your reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills

This course is ideal for you if you…

• have completed around 70 teaching units at A1 level (or equivalent)

• want to review what you have learned and further improve your Japanese

• want to communicate in Japanese in everyday situations

• want to progress gradually from A1 to A2 level

By the end of this course:

You will have further developed your ability to talk about your thoughts, experiences, and preferences in simple Japanese and interact with others on familiar topics, preparing you to continue learning at A2 level.
