The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman is a dark fantasy novel about a boy named Nobody “Bod” Owens who is raised by ghosts in a graveyard after his family is murdered. Protected by supernatural guardians, Bod grows up learning unusual skills from the spirits and other mysterious beings who inhabit the cemetery. As he matures, he becomes increasingly curious about the world beyond the graveyard—and must eventually confront the man who killed his family. The story blends humor, adventure, and gothic elements in a coming-of-age tale about identity, belonging, and bravery.
