The south of Nuremberg is known as a rough and noisy working class neighbourhood. It shows the proud history of Nuremberg as the heart oft he industrialization. Only few know the past of this area with the historic mansions and residential areas for workers that show us a large variety of architectural styles and lovely green areas.

Irene Ramorobi: English teacher in practice; historian at heart. Irene grew up in Nuremberg, studied history, specialising in Bavaria and Franconia, and has spent over 18 years teaching English at the BZ Nuremberg, giving tours and lectures.
