Wir bieten umfassenden Zugang zu Wissen und Information
- Mit unseren Angeboten zu Bildung, Weiterbildung und Freizeitgestaltung sprechen wir Menschen aus allen Kulturen, allen Altersgruppen und sozialen Schichten an. Die Begleitung individueller Bildungswege ebenso wie die Ermöglichung aktiver Teilhabe am gesellschaftlichen und kulturellen Leben ist unsere Leitidee.
- Wir ermöglichen erfolgreiches, lebensbegleitendes Lernen, fördern die Freude am Lesen, stärken Medienkompetenz.
- Wir nutzen partizipative Formate, um aktive Beteiligung und Gestaltung zu ermöglichen.

- Wir sind eine lernende Organisation und arbeiten engagiert und motiviert. Wir tauschen unser Wissen und unsere Erfahrungen aus, orientieren uns an wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen und Standards und praktizieren ein kontinuierliches Qualitätsmanagement.
- Gegenseitige Wertschätzung ist Grundlage unserer Arbeit. Regelmäßige Fort- und Weiterbildung ist für uns selbstverständlich.

- Wir sind dem öffentlichen Auftrag und dem Wohl der Stadt Nürnberg und ihren Bürgerinnen und Bürgern verpflichtet. Über unsere Arbeit berichten wir regelmäßig in den politischen Gremien der Stadt Nürnberg, insbesondere dem Stadtrat als unserem Auftraggeber.

We offer comprehensive access to knowledge and information
- Our extensive program of education, further education, and social leisure activities ensures that our appeal reaches people from all cultures, all age groups, and all social classes. Supporting individual educational paths as well as enabling active participation in social and cultural life is our guiding principle.
- We nurture an environment of successful life-long learning, promote the joy of reading, and strengthen media skills.
- We create an atmosphere of inclusion using participatory learning formats to shape a proactive environment of participation.
